Internship at the Albanian Helsinki Committee

The Albanian Helsinki Committee is looking for two interns for a professional internship at their offices. Law Faculty students with a keen interest in Human Rights protection are encouraged to apply. The Interns will work closely with monitoring the penitentiary system in Albania, online monitoring the judiciary system and the functioning of the new governing bodies of the justice system.

The internship will last for a period of 3 to 6 months and it is unpaid.


The interested candidate to apply for this position must fulfill the below mentioned criteria:

  • be a third year Bachelor student, or a Master student at the Faculty of Law;
  • have a grade average over 8.0;
  • fluency in English and efficiency in basic computer programs;
  • excellent communication ability and work in groups.


Applicants must submit to the email address: within 14 June 2020, 17:00 a CV, Motivation Letter (not exceed more than 500 words), complementary documents that verifies the other criteria and an Essay regarding human rights. The Essay must have a special focus on the penitentiary system in our country, justice reform, the new governing bodies of the justice system etc. (not exceed more than 2 pages).
